Video Delivery

Just as desires and requirements for content of your video will vary, needs for delivery of the video will also vary.   Years ago, there was one way to deliver your video, and that was a VHS tape.  Then there were DVDs.  Then there were High Definition BluRay discs.  Then there was online delivery and flash drives.  Technology changes, and it will continue to change.  However, some  family members might not be as up-to-date on the latest technology as others.   Many filmmakers are totally going away from DVD/BluRay delivery and are delivering solely on thumb drives.  That may be perfect for you.  However, you might want to check with family members and determine if they might prefer a DVD or BluRay.  If so, ensure the videographer you choose offers an option for DVD / BluRay delivery.

Do you possibly have out-of-town relatives or friend that are unable to attend the wedding due to travel or health issues?  Would you like for them to be able to watch your wedding and even your reception live as it happens?  Facetime and Skpye is a possibility... .as long as someone wants to hold the camera.  But some videographers offer live streaming services with high quality video and audio for the ceremony and the reception.  Usually the stream is from a single camera.  However ask if the option is available for live switching of multiple cameras.  Live streaming is always at the mercy of internet capability at the venue.  Fortunately, there are several options now with WiFi and phone service.  However, we recommend you ask your videographer to verify the internet capability at your venue prior to your wedding if possible.
